How is this different from a regular toothbrush or timer?

Most tools just remind kids to brush—they don’t teach them how.

The Smilen actually guides your child step-by-step through the entire routine, including brushing different areas and flossing. With built-in coaching, animations, and rewards, kids don’t just brush—they learn how to do it correctly and consistently.

What age is The Smilen meant for?

The Smilen is designed for kids ages 3–10.

It’s built to guide younger children who are learning how to brush, while still being engaging enough to keep older kids consistent with their routine.

What if I have more than one child?

Great question—many families do!

Each device can support up to 4 users. You can also add an extra reward pack for each child so they can have their own toothbrushes, rewards, and experience without sharing. This helps keep each child engaged and motivated individually.

What are cavity critters?

Cavity Critters are the mischievous creatures that have overrun the Tooth Kingdom. Your child's mission is to catch all 75+ of them — Common, Rare, Sneaky, and Legendary. See if they can find the Legendary Bandit Critter.

Is it safe to use in the bathroom?

Yes. The Smilen is designed specifically for real bathroom use.

It’s water-resistant, durable, and rechargeable, so it can safely sit on your counter and handle everyday use around sinks and water.

How long does the Tooth Kingdom adventure last?

450 brush sessions across 15 regions — That's just over half a year if your child brushes day and night.

What if my child doesn't want to brush every day?

That's exactly what The Smilen is built to solve. Most kids resist brushing because it's boring — so we made it the opposite. Gary and the Tooth Kingdom give kids a reason to come back every morning and night: a new Critter to catch, a region to finish, an adventure that's theirs. The pull to brush comes from the game, not from nagging. And we built in a little grace, too — one honest slip won't erase a child's progress, because we know real life happens. Consistency is still the goal, but a single missed brush won't undo the habit they're building.

Does it record my child or collect any data?

No—The Smilen does not have any cameras or microphones.

We designed it with privacy in mind, so your child can use it safely without any recording or monitoring.
